Betsan Corkhill

Betsan Corkhill is a Health and Wellbeing Coach who specializes in working with people living with long-term health problems, particularly pain. She has many years of clinical experience as a former senior physiotherapist and is a passionate advocate for a whole-person approach to health, from managing day-to-day stress and life’s inevitable challenges through to managing ill-health.

 

She has been researching the meditative, creative, and social benefits of knitting since 2005. On realizing these benefits could be enhanced with knowledge, she developed the concept of Therapeutic Knitting to deliberately improve wellbeing, health and manage illness. She is the founder of Stitchlinks (www.Stitchlinks.com) which is the home of Therapeutic Knitting

and has published a book ‘Knit for Health and Wellness; How to knit a flexible mind and more’ which is sold worldwide with translations in German and Spanish.
