Spinning With 3 Fibers

1Yak and Silk 2 Alpaca 3. Bluefaced Leicester "Pictish Wool"(the thinner spin) 4. Wool from my neighbor's sheep (and first drop spindle, the spin is quite bulky and loose The Yak/silk was hardest for me. It kept breaking on me. My first drop-spindle was using a grey wool from my neighbor and it is quite bulky and loose. The Pictish Wool was easiest for me. It had a soft feel but "grabbed" well and I was able to spin a thinner yarn than on any of the others. The Alpaca was my second spin and I was still getting a feel for making the "V's" out of the rove and the rhythm of the twist, pinch, release. It's a bit winky-wonky.
