Intro Into Knitting in the Round

This is an adult workshop, taught by Elizabeth Seward, author of Teaching Through Stories: Jane and Jeremy Learn to Knit. Knitting in the round is traditionally taught in 5th grade in Waldorf schools. There are often new students who join the class around this age and may not have any experience with knitting. This is a great project to introduce knitting to new students and review for those who have not knit since 2nd grade.

We will make a knitted water bottle cover, or small knitted pouch together.

This workshop is intended for those who want to learn knitting in the round (“4-needle” or “5-needle” knitting), for teachers, and for those who need an easy way to introduce students to knitting in the round.
