About the event

Led by talented teacher, Mary Kate Jenkins, learn to knit lace with this simple and sweet kerchief project. Designed by Mary Kate herself, this is a wonderful and approachable introduction to lace knitting.

Participants will learn about lace construction including how to make yarnovers, knit increases and decreases, and how to read a lace pattern. As the kerchief gets larger, the space between the lace rows becomes longer, so you can knit this as small or as large as you like by continuing as the pattern indicates. After this class, participants will have the skills to knit a more advanced lace garment.
