Meet the Movement Team!

 

We are honored to be working with an amazing team of movement teachers who are coordinating and leading this portion of the conference!

Jennifer Gould

Jennifer Gould is a Movement Education teacher, coach, mentor, and Waldorf parent for 20+ years, based with the Pasadena Waldorf School in Southern California.  In addition to her role as Lower school (grades 1-8) Games and PE teacher, she has been a hosting coordinator for multi school gatherings including Pentathlon/Hands in Peace events and Rising Warrior/Medieval Games.

 

Dedicated to being a lifelong learner, she is a certified Waldorf teacher, a forever student with the Spacial Dynamics Institute, and a participating member of the worldwide Bothmer Gymnastics community and Archery USA instructors.  Jennifer is proud to be a pioneering member of the USA initiative for Emergency Pedagogy without Borders.  Her passion for serving in education is fueled by shared goals for building community through collaboration, exploration, and innovation.

Theodora Mason

Theodora is a faculty member in our WHE Handwork Teacher Training Program, bringing more than twenty years of experience in Waldorf education. She played a central role in the Sanderling Waldorf School in Southern California, where she developed and taught the handwork and movement curriculum for grades one through eight. She later taught movement for grades one through twelve at the Portland Waldorf School and currently serves as both a class teacher and movement teacher at Living Oaks in the Texas Hill Country.

 

A graduate of Level I and an ongoing student in the Level II and III Spacial Dynamics training, Theodora is also certified in Bothmer gymnastics and in USA Archery. A lifelong yoga practitioner and certified instructor, she brings harmony, strength, and insight to her teaching. She is deeply committed to an education that nurtures the whole human being and supports each child’s unfolding as a free and self-directed individual.
