Felt moon phase project by Ana Morimoto
This is a project to represent various phases of the moon using white and black felt circles and embroidery floss or perle cotton. It can be done in conjunction with actual lunar observations (like for 3rd grade time measurement or astronomy in middle school). Can be used with various lunar festivals (Tsukimi, Mid Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year/Spring Festival, etc.)
